Medicinal chemistry is an area within the broad discipline of chemistry that develops new pharmaceutical agents, from concept to clinic. Graduates will be equipped with a unique and wide harmony of professionally orientated skills, from fundamental chemistry to relevant pharmacology and molecular biology skills. This degree is an interdisciplinary program between the Schools of Chemistry, Biotechnology & Biomolecular Sciences and the Pharmacology section of the Faculty of Medicine.
