UNSW Master of Mathematics offers intensive, high-level training in principles of mathematical sciences. It is intended for students who have completed a Mathematics or Statistics degree, or a degree in a related area.  

The 1.7-year full-time (or equivalent part-time) degree explores practical solutions to real-world problems. You'll gain experience in learning how to deal with new concepts, higher levels of abstraction, fresh techniques and novel applications.

Build Your Specialised Degree 

The flexible structure allows students to build a degree that suits their best interests. UNSW Master of Mathematics offers a variety of elective courses, comprised of core theory and specialised components, as well as a compulsory research project.  

The choice of electives includes functional analysis, graph theory, computational mathematics for science and engineering, and longitudinal data analysis.
