What Our Academics Say

We live in the Big Data era: we collect data everywhere, every time, meaning that the world contains an unimaginably vast amount of digital information which is getting ever vaster ever more rapidly. Extracting the wealth of information that such data contain produces huge benefits for the society as a whole, but it is a very challenging task which requires skills and training. Statisticians are the people with that expertise, which explains why they have become key players in today’s job market.
