Classroom Inclusivity Guidelines

The Science Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Working Group have launched a set of Classroom Inclusivity Guidelines. These guidelines are designed to inform inclusive classroom practice and reflect the most contemporary research across the equity, diversity and inclusion field. These guidelines were developed in light of the absence of comprehensive guidelines that cover inclusivity and seek to provide valuable information in one readily accessible document. Research indicates that students are more likely to flourish academically and personally in academic settings that acknowledge and respect their personal experiences, identities and backgrounds.

We’re asking individuals to share with one thing they have changed, big or small, as a result of reading these guidelines so that we can celebrate the ongoing commitment and effort to enabling a more inclusive educational environment.
