Time travel is possible, there could be extra dimensions in space all around us, and the world we know could be a hologram.

Renowned American theoretical physicist, author and science communicator Dr Brian Greene discusses these intriguing concepts in an exclusive interview with UNSW Science.

Greene, who is a professor of physics and mathematics at Columbia University in New York, was brought to Australia recently by Think Inc and gave a special performance to a full house in ICC Sydney.

Beforehand, he sat down with UNSW astrophysicist Dr Lucyna Chudczer to discuss his career, string theory and the idea that our universe could be just one of many.
