Helping Our Toddlers, Developing Our Children’s Skills (HOT DOCS)

Are you interested in learning new strategies to manage your young child’s behaviour? The UNSW Parent-Child Research Clinic is offering a seven-week group parenting program called Helping Our Toddlers, Developing Our Children’s Skills (HOT DOCS) via Zoom. The program is evidence-based, structured and supportive.

You will learn to:
-Understand your child’s development and how children learn
-Adjust your daily routines to create a more peaceful home
-Troubleshoot common challenges in parenting young children, including mealtime and bedtime battles, tantrums, and whinging
-Use proactive strategies to improve challenging behaviours
-Feel less stressed and more competent as a parent.

The program is suitable for ALL parents and caregivers of children aged 18 months to 5 years (inclusive)

When: Wednesdays 27 January 2021 – 10 March 2021 (seven sessions) 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Where: Online via Zoom

Course cost: $140 ($70 for the second caregiver in the home attending)
