The Masters of Materials Technology program provides a comprehensive yet flexible study of the full range of materials, including ceramics, composites, metals, and polymers. 

The program is designed for graduates wishing to acquire expertise in the design, selection, use and performance of modern materials. The program is suitable for graduates with Science, Engineering, Technology or related backgrounds who wish to broaden, extend or update their range of expertise.

The program consists of 2 years of full-time or equivalent study comprising coursework in materials processing, materials design, materials technology and materials industry management - plus 8 electives. It also includes a component of experimental and/or design project work, and an original research project is also undertaken in a chosen area.
