Type of event:
Presented by innovative Education Focussed (EF) academics from UNSW Business School.
We have an exciting event coming up on the 12th of September in the Business Faculty, which is showcasing how 21st century technologies and the digitisation of learning can be used to advantage both teaching staff and students. We will also discuss how to use technology to integrate employability outcomes into courses. In a fast-paced world where students are increasingly making course and program choices based on technological competencies they wish to acquire or understand, as well as those which will increase their chances to find meaningful and engaging employment, this event is likely to be of interest to many staff and a highlight of the UNSW Career Development offering.
Open to all staff, the EF Lunch & Learn is hosted by a different faculty each month and consists of a teaching and professional skills session. Don’t miss out! Reserve your spot here!
This Lunch & Learn will feature presentations from Dr Diane Mayorga (Enhancing digital resources through partnership with PASS leaders), Dr Kevin Liu (Retirement VR), Dr Alexandra Walker (Digital tools to help unpack complex ideas and guide student learning), Dr Kar Ming Chong (Peer evaluation for teamwork made easy) and Dr Henry Yip (Moddle Scheduler - two magic words to vanish the queue). Brigette McKenna from the Career Accelerator team will discuss the utilisation of technology to scale experiential learning opportunities for all students, and Dr. Peter Heslin from the AGSM will host an interactive activity on how to enhance student learning outcomes.
