Funding1995 Special Research Grant, Faculty of Applied Science UNSW ($3800) in support of "Fire, erosion and productivity over the last 2,000 years in southeastern Australia". 1996 Special Research Grant, Faculty of Applied Science UNSW ($4000) to support the continuation of the 1995 SRG project. 1996 AINSE Special AMS Quaternary Grants 1996/97 series ($4020) to investigate "Faunal losses and recent environmental change at Bedourie SW Queensland". 1997 Allocation of $2,200 towards costs of radiocarbon dating to investigate rates of sedimentation in Dee Why Lagoon, Dee Why, NSW, from Warringah Council. 1998 Australian Research Council (ARC) Small Grants Scheme ($6,000) to support the project "The post-glacial history of vegetation, fire, erosion and productivity at Thirlmere Lakes". 2000 Involvement in ARC/DETYA Research Infrastructure Equipment and Facilities (RIEF) Grant awarded to a consortium of geology departments.
