The Faculty of Science is committed to achieving the best possible student experience by enhancing the quality and profile of learning and teaching.
This commitment is driven by the Science Learning and Teaching Unit and the Science Learning & Teaching Interest Group (SLATIG) - a core group of people who coordinate, facilitate and drive educational policy and initiatives within the Faculty.
Science is one of the most research-intensive Faculties at UNSW, though it still enjoys a strong reputation for the quality of learning and teaching. Many of our academic staff have been recognised for their contributions in higher education winning national prestigious teaching awards and fellowships.
This section of the website provides support for the enhancement, promotion and dissemination of activities in learning and teaching in Science. We hope this website provides a useful resource and if you have any questions that relate to learning and teaching within our Faculty please do not hesitate to contact us.
