There are lots of events, workshops and activities scheduled during UNSW Orientation Week (aka O-Week) to help new students learn about and become involved with student life at UNSW.

UNSW Science will hold most of our welcome events for students on Wednesday, 24 February 2016.

Science Afternoon Tea


3:00pm, Physics Lawn. Join your new classmates, student ambassadors and staff on the lawn for free food, fun and games.

Starting from 3:30pm, leaving from the Physics Lawn.



UNSW student services also host workshops designed to assist students with the transition to university and develop essential skills for study and self- management. A full list of Faculty welcomes and academic/life skills workshops are available at

Arc @ UNSW Yellow Shirt volunteers will be on hand throughout O-Week to answer questions about University life, run campus tours and O-Week social events. Orientation week also sees student clubs and societies set up stalls on the main walkway during the day, and entertainment will be held into the evening throughout the week.
