Date:

Wednesday, 21 February, 2018 - 12:30

Where:

Sir John Clancy Auditorium (and other venues)

Hosts:

Faculty of Science

Type of event:

Presentation

Audience / Guests:

Future Students

Hosted by the Dean of Science, Professor Emma Johnston, this event welcomes the freshest crop of science students to UNSW.

The presentation will include an introduction to key people and places, advice from current students and staff, and an interactive Q&A panel for all those unanswered questions.

Science at UNSW is huge and diverse... we teach everything from flying planes to the mechanics of your brain.

So, we strongly encourage commencing students to also attend one of the nine School Welcomes, which accompany the Faculty Welcome during O-Week, providing the perfect opportunity to get to know teachers and fellow students in your specific study area.

Not quite sure what sort of science you're going to study yet?  No problem!  Find out more about each of the nine Schools, or contact the Science Student Centre for some tips.
