Are you doing Honours next year?

Don't forget to visit the UNSW Scholarships website and check what scholarships might be available for your honours year! Many of these scholarships close in the preceding year (ie if you are starting your honours in S1 2014, applications may close during S2 2013 or early 2014).

There are a number of different scholarships available with a number of differing closing dates so to make sure you do not miss out check the Scholarship website early or ask your School what scholarships are usually available for students completing Honours.

AsiaBound Grants for China

UNSW was successful in receiving AsiaBound grants for exchange to China.  This funding includes both exchange ($5000) and preparatory language study ($1000) that can be undertaken prior to or concurrently with your exchange semester(s).

Language classes can either be delivered:

  • in-country or on-line by UNSW
  • in-country prior or during your exchange semester

The AsiaBound Grants Program is funded by the Australian Government DIICCSRTE and is open to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents. AsiaBound scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit.  Students awarded the preparatory language study scholarship are required to show evidence of their language program prior to receiving the funding.
